Some varieties develop blooms with that multi-centered look in cooler weather. Also, colors can be more intense when it's cold, so it is possible that might actually be Irish Gold.

When the weather warms up, see if the blooms look more typical for the variety.

Yep, it is called a "split center" and happens a lot with hybrid teas. Some do it more than others. Sometimes caused by weather, sometimes too much fertilizer. You also can't tell much from the first year of growing.
