You can plant them outdoors, they will be fine. In your climate be sure to water very frequently, some may even do well with 4 hrs. of sun. It's ok to plant them now minis are pretty hardy roses. How cold are your winters? I mulch mine and they do great. Which varieties did you get? Just being nosy :)

jen, thank you for the info..winters here usually remain 15 to 20 at the lowest...as for the type I don't know, they just said Aldershot of Mesilla, which is a nursery here..not much help huh:)

Aldershot is a grower and distributor of Poulsen's Parade series of roses to the mass-market stores. They make good border plantings.
