Cameilla Rose is pretty close. Another offered Carolina Rose on the cottage garden forum. Maybe it's an offspring from something else?

I think Carolina roses are not as full as your's. Are the center petals all scalloped like that or was that injury to the petals? That is so cool if it is natural.

Whenever I rustle a rose, the first thing I do is try to eliminate all the possible varieties that have been used as rootstock over the years. It looks to me like your rose may be Manetti. It's a very nice find!

This is the first bloom so far so I don't know if all the blooms will look like this one. Not really fragrant as of yet. Because of where I found it and what I know about the back yard, I'm thinking it was a rootstock of another rose at some point. Manetti looks really close.

The foliage is wrong for 'Manetii'. Dunno what it is. Maybe 'Fun Jwan Lo'?
