Could be Granada but there are several more that have that kind of coloring. I have Dick Clark, Hondo, Dream Come True and Hot Romance that all have similar coloring. If you could get more pictures of it in different stages of bloom that would help.

Wow!!! That's gorgeous! Take a look at Charisma. I think that may be it.

Yeap, I think it is Charisma! Now I just have to find it at a nursery...lol.

It's growing in my friends yard...

And I cannot find it at any of our bigger nurseries in San Diego.. I may have to root a cutting.

There are two Charismas. The Meilland HT is extinct but the Jelly flori is not. HMF lists it at several nurseries.

But if you want an exact copy of your friends rooting a cutting is the best way to go. Good Luck!

I am trying to root a cutting with the newspaper burrito method. And learning to do chip grafting, onto a Fortuniana rootstock. (Have a friend at UC Davis, he recommends the Fortuniana rootstock over Dr. Huey (for SoCal anyway))
