If you can post more pictures, the leaves, buds, thorns and the whole plant, we might have a better chance of IDing it. And ANY information you can get about it would help too. Does it bloom once a year or all season long? Does it have any fragrance? Pictures of the original plant so we can see size and shape would help. And knowing where it is growing as well. The more you can tell us the more likely we can ID it.

Seil, this is pretty much the whole plant. The cutting went in the ground last year and this is the very first bloom on it. I purposely took the picture to include the leaves because someone once told me that they are taken into consideration when trying to ID roses. I know nothing about the plant itself, other than it's history. It did not have much of a fragrance when I sniffed it, but it could have been the time of day. The parent plant is in a location that you have to pay to get in, but maybe they will allow me to walk in just to take the picture. If so, I will post pictures later.
