This rose bush is growing at the little country church I grew up in in Oklahoma. According to my Grandmother it has been there for years. Since the 40s or so.

It only blooms once a year. The week of mother's day. During that week it is covered with TONS of VERY STRONG smelling bright pink roses. The smell is VERY lovely. The branches have lots of tiny tiny thorns. Not big ones. It is just a bush. I don't think it climbs or anything. No one really tends it. It just grows where ever it wants. It is probably at least 6 feet tall.

That's really all I can say about it!

Does anyone have any idea what kind it is?

Thanks.
