they have a good selection of sweet/mild peppers as well. after looking through the catalog, you'll have to call them to plqace an order. also, have you signed up for the tomato and pepper trade. i believe the cutoff date is the 30th of this month.

I have not signed up for the tomato and pepper trade as I don't have anything yet to trade, but I will definintely check out the chile pepper institue. Thank you sandpebbles.

To quote Heather (who's organizing the swap):

"Just a thought, but a number of the participants have bought commercial seed packets and shared some of those for this exchange. It's a great way to expand your collection. Most people don't grow all of the tomato (inserted by Bill: or pepper) seeds they get in a commerical packet and they're usually at least 10 seeds leftover (our minimum) that you could swap for other varieties."

You may want to pick up a packet of seed and join in.

Tomato Growers, Tradewinds,almost any of the main garden seed catalogs such as Jung, Gurneys,Farmers,Johnny's Seeds, the list goes on but they carry a variety of milder peppers as well as some hot ones.

I would recommend you join the seed swap. Heather will only send you sweet peppers if that is what you request, even if you send in tomato and hot pepper seeds.

The Chile Pepper Institute is reliable but kind of expensive. Also, many folks here advise to stay away from Reimers Seeds - they talk a good game, but that's all you get.
