doesn't anyone have suckers of this rose that they are willing to part with??

This is advice from someone who has done rose trades of old European roses.

The best time to harvest and exchange rose suckers is in the fall/winter. Think about it. Roses are putting in tender new growth and that means suckers. Harvesting suckers in the summer would only stress the rose bush more.
Again I am speaking from experience.

Your response implies impatience. The type of rose you request is best obtained through ordering.

Unless at the appropriate time someone has that bush.

sorry, wasn't meaning to sound impatient. just wanted to line up a trade -- often times people will say, "i'll have this plant for trade in the fall (spring, summer, etc.). ping me back then". so that the person wanting the plant knows they have a tenative trade outstanding.
