you need to create a moist enviroment. Either use a soda bottle or a ziploc bag

It works for me. I just put them in a flower pot and set them under a tree and mist them once or twice a day.

I took two cuttings from one of my roses and put them in one gallon pots filled with compost. I thought what have I got to lose. I placed the pots in the shade and keep them moist. Today they both have numerous sets of leaves.
