Sure wish someone would answer your question, Frank ... I'd like to know East Friesland's ultimate size too. I bought eight East Frieslands at HD and planted them about 3 ft apart. Hope that works.

A few years back I bought about 3 small ones from HD as well and I planted them about 1 foot apart and they did well. The only thing I didnt like is that they flop over very easily with water and they look ugly this way. But they look beautiful when they are all clumped together and growing straight up.
