They are coming back

It had been a week or so since I went walking along the salvia hedge we've been planting for the past few years in a park near the Delaware River. What a difference as week makes. Most of the greggii have new green leaves, especially Wild Thing. With a single exception the microphylla are still slumbering, at least I hope that is sleep. I probably worried to much about the plants, busy work for the mind in what was a rather protracted and cold winter. Greggii yet to break dormancy are Navajo Bright Red, White, Stampede, and a couple probably not hardy Mexican ones whos' names escape me. Welcome spring.
