Please understand that no one can answer this issue without more information. It sort of one of those crystal ball questions! By ' a lot of rain' do you mean flooding? How old is the plant? What was its general condition before? What kind of soil do you have?

The only advice we can give is to be patient. Do not fertilize, do not prune.

Grape Myrlte is a beautiful tree that provides incredible flowers all summer long going from white to light pink to darker pink just beautiful.Comes the fall the tree loses all its leaves and will stay with out it until the spring
They do very well here in south Florida, I live in Fort Lauderdale.

I have a few Crepes that are suffering this year too. The cooler than normal weather (up till August) and all the excess rain (since, what - December?) have taken thier toll on mine too. Some are losing leaves already since this last cool spell, some did not bloom like they should have... I am waiting and hoping that next year brings a better bloom season. I wouldn't worry or do anything drastic at this point.
