First glance I thought I had a fungus growing at the base of my large clump. Guess not!

That's as good as it gets pm. The masses are composed of many flowers blooming at once.

You arn't kidding and that is a very old plant, I hope I live long enough to see mine in flower. It certainly is as good as it gets. Congratulatiions. It is now called San. fisherii, renamed about 20 years ago. Norma

I am green with envy, is this growing in open run, in the sun or shade, and where is zone 9 I just want mine to flower, how old is your plant. Please help, Norma
