Ti looks like shiso (Japanese name) or Perilla frutescens. Is this form aronatic?

I did rub it after you asked, it has a lemony basil fragrance. It's quite hairy though, not sure if I would want to eat it.

You might be surprised about its seed producing capabilities. Small plants like yours might produce at least one seed head before frost. It does self-sow in greenhouses.

The Japanese use it as a coloring and flavoring agent in their pickled vegetables, I believe.
