I grew pumpkinni one year (by accident). It came out the same way the following year from seed I saved. If fact, it won Best of Show at the County Fair for 'unusual squash'. It was huge, round, and bright yellow with soft skin. Used it to make 'pumpkinni' bread...don't know if anyone is patenting these crosses, sorry.

I posted not long ago about our scalloped squash that crossed with our ornamental gourds. Kids call them squords. Ill see what volunteers next year! Maybe squordinis?
