Many folks say they use 1/4 teaspoon as a measure for tiny seeds, but that would certainly not apply to all small seeds...like say sedum seeds that are like dust almost, or rose moss.

I would say 1/4 teaspoon would be a very fair and generous amount...prolly a lot more than one would really need.

I had a member share some specialty named poppies with me, and was really thrilled to get 10-20 of the tiny seeds.

1/4 ts or some less should be fine. If it makes a zillion packs, you could put a bit more in them.

Thanks for the info. Sue. These are heirloom poppies and seem to prefer propogation by underground roots, so they do not germinate well. I would like to ensure that those with whom I share get a fair chance.
