Castor bean seeds

How do you collect these seeds. They have lots of seed pods that are red prickly on them. Do I pick them now or wait till they turn brown. Sorry but this is my first time growing them and I have a lot of plants and want to grow them next year. Please message me if you can help me. I am really desperate as I love this plant.
