Today I had to harvest all of my scarlet runner pods. I had them growing at a friends farm, he lets me use a patch for veggies there =) Anyway, some of the pods were still green and not quite to the leathery stage yet. I broke open one of the green pods, and the beans do look ripe. They are black and red mottled, just like the ones I planted. Should these germinate for me? Also, anyone know about how long it takes to dry these?
