My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I obtained a couple plants of Salvia glabrescens 'Shi Ho' from Asiatica Nursery at the GardenFair in Wilmington this year. It made the most spectacular display of purple and lavender flowers but unfortunately not one seed was made from them. I am hoping they will survive our wet winter in Delaware so I can try propagating it vegetatively.
It is good to see that Barry Yinger & Andrew Yih-Shyue Wong have rebuilt Asiatica from the fire they went through a few years ago. If Barry is behind the distribution of a plant, its identity is much more likely to be accurate. If we are lucky, he will inherit some of Dan Hinkley's gems from Heronswood and continue to make them available.
Matias, thank you for your nice comment, and welcome to the Salvia group! What salvias are you growing?
Becky, 'Shi Ho' and another cultivar "Momobana' (latter is patterned identically as 'Shi Ho' except it is bright pink) survived last year's winter here in Wilmington, Delaware. The transplant was not large, about 18 inches, and I won't be able to comment on height or width really until next summer when I see how they grow in a different location where there is a bit more sunlight. Asiatica had them as light shade adapted but I placed them in an area where there was not enough light and they just sulked, so I had to move them.

I´m sure forget some, I´m very happy, this weekend I will start seeding some Richard¨s Dufresne seeds. I´ve collect one in Uruguay, and have some that this wonderful forum will help to name :-)
