I'm new to this forum so please bear with me but I'm looking for some advice. My garden plot receives about 6 hours direct sun minimum during the Summer and when I first planted it, it I grew a fairly good crop of peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and squash. I've been grinding leaves into the plot in the Fall and mulching with straw in the Spring after I set my plants out. For the past few years, I still grow a good squash crop and the cucumbers produce well for three weeks or so but the peppers and tomatoes don't do so well. From all that I've read, I need a lot of sun for all of these crops but the exposure hasn't changed, so any guesses concerning what I'm doing wrong?
