A friend of mine just planted beautiful hayracks in front of her urban home's windows. The building is right up next to the sidewalk, close to a college campus and its nightlife. She's already having trouble with people deciding to uproot and rearrange plants. I suggested weaving some thorny rose or raspberry canes through the plantings -- but now we have to figure out how to locate some. (Craigslist, maybe?) Does anyone have a source for thorny branches or another idea to deter young inebriates? (It's already well-lit.) Thanks!
