I doubt it. They don't have sticky tendrils, but climb by winding their tendrils around something. You could put some type of netting in front of the brick and allow enough space between it and the hard surface for the beans to grab on, I suppose.

No.

They are called 'pole' beans, not 'wall' beans. Few vines can attach themselves in such a manner - Virginia creeper, English ivy, ficus, Boston ivy et al.

Granny gets at a good solution, and I have a trellis in front of a brick wall. You must do something about the heat.
