Funny: I was looking at the same product this morning. It appears to me that the grade 4 vermiculite is right, but I haven't bought it from them. I'm still looking for a local source, because one 4-ft. bag is as much as I need, and their minimum order is 2.

locate and call your local farmer's coop "cooperative extension" and ask them for 4cu ft. bags of agricultural grade vermiculite. They'll have it and they'll have it cheap. And you won't have to pay for 25-lbs per bag worth of shipping in the process...

For our purposes, *any* vermiculite is "right" - provided it is the cheapest you can find. On that criteria, I'd about promise you can do much better than the source you listed.

I checked the link. They are out of Duluth, Ga. If you are close call them and see if you can pick up. I called Pikes today and they had some. I need at least four bags, so I am looking for a decent price too. They all seem to be around the $20.00 Plus total around here.
