Did you do rainfall measures in 2005?

I did and compared my total with the closest city (Knoxville). My garden had only 37.30 inches, a deficit of 10.92 from the Knoxville average of 48.22.

It also indicates that recharge of our ground water didn't happen very well in the drier months, August onward.

Did do a rainfall measure, but I sure could tell from my water bills that we were short on rain. Next year we are considering drilling a well!

Due to dry weather rainfall was cancelled here. I think
West Tn. was about 15 inches shorter this past year and
nothing this year.

I never thought about tracking the rainfall, so thanks for the suggestion. I will try to do that this year.

Ours cracked and turned to dust from lack of rain.

Here is a link to Memphis' total rainfall for 2005, down 14 inches. Off to a dry start this year but oh right, its only Jan 9th, :), guess I mean dry winter so far. I almost forgot what rain is its been so dry~~
