This might not be the right forum ... but I have planted my corn rows 18 inches apart and 8 inches between plants. Corn is doing well so far. But my wife and I are curious, Why is it the outside row on one side/row always seems to be much smaller, slower developing than the rest of the rows? In this case it's the row on the North side of the garden ... Could that be it?
