Oh well if you are askibg about the plant, it's a peperomia and is doing well. I am more curious about whether the plastic wrap will break. It's sucked in about an inch and a half and is tight as a drum. But it's holding on to the edge pretty well still, so who knows.

Plastic wrap's ductility is pretty high. The stretching due to the change in air pressure was probable quite uniform.

Oh it is pretty uniform. It's just fascinating to see how much it can stretch. My wife OTOH is driven nuts by the visual tension of a tight concave bubble in the opening.

How long has it been since you burped the seal?

It had been about 5 days since I had put the cling wrap on.

So if it breaks (which it won't) what would happen? I mean is it all sterilized in the terrarium?

I was wondering more if the seal would break moreso than the actual plastic ripping. It is just attached by a thin contact point around the rim. But no, it never gave, although there was some memory going on with the plastic.

Nothing would happen except some dessicatation. It's definitely not sterile in those.
