Hi,

As part of a Christmas gift for a relative, I'm trying to come up with a list of terrestrial and aquatic plants that would be non-toxic to turtles in a terrarium/vivarium. I have no experience with this myself, and was wondering if anybody here could make any recommendations.

I don't know what type of turtles he'd be keeping in the terrarium...I do know that turtles tend to eat up their surroundings...a point I will remind him of when I send over the list! But I'll let him decide on all that...I just want to have a list to give him.

So far in my web research I've seen that dwarf water hyacinth, duckweed, water sprite, Anacharis, and water lettuce might be alright. Any other suggestions?
