I've picked 3 already...ain't it great? Sorry for the pest problem you've encountered. That's why I go out every night before bedtime, and inspect everything. Most of the moths that lay eggs on foliage is out there after dark, and I just crush them with my hand. Hooray! Yea for big hands! Anyway, that isn't half as good as seeing one of my little bitty spiders that took up residence at the top of my cucumber trellis - with a cucumber beetle in it's grasp. He was sucking the life out of that little &*%$#@

i ate my first one yesterday sliced and dipped in hummas with the skin on--yum

This evening, my wife marinated some sliced cucumber and onions in vinegar mixed with sugar - it was yummy.....Socalgirl, don't worry - I see many more headed your way. I saw a baby one in the picture....
