LOL I Know the feeling. The first time I got one I thought "wow these things have prickles!" Sounds like I am glad I dont grow zucchini!

they look great!! but man! those stickers are HUGE!@!! OUCH!!! some of my tomato's were like that last year! i don't know what that was from, i never saw any stickers! ~medo

Gosh I am amazed, wow! got to get me one of those, I didn't know a $50 bill existed! but I suppose all those...er! I want that for my garden! will make that day, further and further away??? my zucks are rotting away as did my first lot of cucs so the green eyed monster is here.

I found the same issue last year. Same goes for raddish stems. Go figure. Tasty though.

I just checked the plastic marker, and unfortunately all it says is "cucumber". They were from Kube Pak, if that helps at all. I'm guessing the latin name would be something like Cucactus Ouchus. ;-)

Thanks for the reminder! I stumbled across that title around the same time I bought Mel's SFG book. I read every one of the Amazon reviews - the book sounds hilarious. I'm going to have to order that soon.
