I don't know, morty. Could be bacterial, though that would spread fairly slowly; try to make sure that you do your spraying in the morning, so that the leaves have lots of time to dry out before nightfall. You can try picking off the affected leaves, assuming it isn't spreading very fast.

If the new growth looks healthy, that should rule out things like Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus, which has lesions like that. Keep an eye on the new leaves, though, and make sure they don't curl, stunt, or bleach. Fruit infected with TSWV gets odd bullseye patterns and distortions. If you see either one, pull the plant.

Those would be my guesses.

It does seem to be slow spreading, and I am picking off the few spotted leaves as they appear. So far there is no curling or distortions in the new growth, and the plant is a healthy green color standing about five feet tall.

I water in the morning, though this particular plant is shaded by mid afternoon (2:00). I'll watch extra close now for any of the other symptoms you mentioned. My boyfriend already thinks I'm a little nutty with this tomato obsession :)

I appreciate your expert advise--who knew tomatoes could be so complicated?! Phew!
