What plants is he looking for? I'd love a bluebird house for my folks. I've got waterlilies, possibly lotus, cattails, water iris, tall pickerel rush, all sorts of stuff. Just let me know!

Thanks, I'll have him hook you up. I know that they would like the Lotus, Iris and Lilies but I doubt that they would go for the Cattail and I'm not sure about the Rush. I sent him pics so I'll wait and see what Cindy wants. Tim will just have to live with HER decision. Their pond is only 10' x 7' x 3' (L x W x H). Would your folks want more than one? I know that Tim wants several plants!

I'm sure two or three would be great. Thanks, Big O! If you mention the cattails, these are dwarf cattails -- not the full-sized ones. And though I called it pickerel rush, it's more commonly called pickerel WEED -- it's Pontederia cordata. This clone is the tallest pickerel I've ever seen -- it gets roughly 4-5 feet by the end of the summer -- so don't be fooled if you see pics of dainty short little plants. ;-)

I wanted to get 1 or 2 of those birdhouses last fall but didn't. I have pond plants - will they need oxygenators ?? I can bring anacharis, parrots feather, floating hearts. ..maybe
a lily.
