What have you done for fertilizer?
What are your watering practices?

I use tomato tone as well as some lime. I also used some Neptune fish and seaweed emulsion in April and May. We had 10 inches of rain in June which produced some fungus pressure on the garden overall.

I had some downy mildew appear on my cucumbers and I am thinking it has spread to the tomato plants. I have not had to water the garden once time all year except in the spring when I planted the tomatoes.

Why lime? What is the soil pH where your tomatoes are growing?
Too much calcium (lime) in the soil causes the soil to become alkaline. Some elements such as boron, manganese, iron, zinc, etc., are not soluble in an alkaline solution, and because they are needed in small amounts by plants, poor growth develops. Usually the growth is chlorotic (yellow).

Also, I would be on the lookout for powdery mildew - a fungus.

I just put once feeding of lime around the plants on the advice of my garden center. I think it is either a mildew or possibly spider mites.

where do you live -- city & state, please.

Ok - definitely not starved. Been feeding them regularly. Took a couple of sample to my local garden center and they diagnosed my plants as having spider mites and late blight. Give the amount of rain we have had this summer, I am not surprised re the blight.
