Hello -- I've been a lurker for years and always enjoy the posts - this time I have a question. I'm in Franklin (outside of Nashville).

I have several hellebores and just love them. However, one of mine seems to just flush out with huge leaves each spring and all the flowers are covered by the foliage. None of my others (with similar exposures and conditions) do this. I don't want to cut the leaves off b/c these are the new ones - not the tattered ones from the winter. Any ideas? Do you think I need to divide it -- it's gotten pretty big . . . If so, when do I do that?
