Bloomsday is great fun. Music, crafts, plants, workshops, stuff for kids, etc.
Seeing the lotus in bloom is worth the trip.

The music...well if you're into that kinda music.

The kid stuff...great if you're a kid.

The crafts...a few are interesting, but I'm not a crafty kinda guy.

The plants...I always find a few to take home.

Then there are the workshops/presentations. I have learned so much from listening and especially asking questions! Many of the professors and presenters are amazing sources of knoledge and enjoy being asked questions. They'll even stick around to talk one on one for a while. The literature they give out can also be very informative. Check out the schedule and attend the ones that interest you. The presentations are definitely worth the entrance fee and the trip.

And, don't forget to look around the trial gardens to see what's new.

Bloomsday will be lots of fun. I'll be working there on Sunday -- look for the tall lady with the long brown hair. I'm not sure what areas I'll be working in, but I'll probably be doing workshop setup part of the day and maybe at the ticket booth part of the day. I'll be wearing a master gardener name tag, so you won't have to walk up to people saying "excuse me, are you that weird Amazondoc person?" LOL
