The product from Wal-mart was Serenade, which is a fungicide. I believe it would be better to use it as a preventative and repeat thru-out season though it does say you can use on existing fungal problems. Your tomatoes just don't sound like they were too healthy from the get-go and I agree that too close together can cause problems. WHen you say he sprayed like crazy--what did you mean? Spray with what? If it was a fungicide, don't think Serenade would do anything different for you. If it was an insecticide--what sort of insect did you have (otherwise, that just kills all your beneficial insects. )

Yup, serenade was what I was looking for! I recognize the name. Hub is in charge of spraying, I'll ask him what he used - I think Sevin. Gonna see if I can rescue the north side in greenhouse. Next year we're doing things a little different. Too dang hot for tomatoes in greenhouse. Cukes, however are doing great! Thanks all I do appreciate this!
