RE: the Penn State article. I just read one from Cornell that said it was fine to eat them! Hmmmmmm.

I picked all the green and nearly ripe tomatoes that I could and it has been too late in each one! What a major drag!

Even if you pick them, they start getting lesions on them in the house. I tried washing them off when I brought them in, hopefully that will help.

Boy does this ever suck. I had some nice big huge mortgage lifters and I hoped I was rescuing them, but within a day, they both were rotting on the counter.
