Hi Ken. I cover my plants to protect them from the cold with a pvc pipe dome from the sfg book. I also use a frame made from 2x4's for my citrus. Try the search at the bottom of this page to find some great pictures that others have posted. Hope this helps.

Do you live where it is very dry? Often in Colorado, the winds dry out some plants and trees over the winter if there hasn't been much moisture.
