Perhaps you've see a change with your plant by now.

Has the"droop" continued the same? Or has it worsened? Or is it gone?

If worse, please show us a current image.

It has definitely got worse, but it is really stormy, so can't get a pic.

The new growth has got a very crumpled and rough texture.

I will try and get a pic tomorrow.

Here is a pic taken today, not looking so good.

Some of the leaves have a few brown spots and on others the edges have gone a bit black/brown.
