Well here's my latest question. When the blooms on my purple coneflower die, the whole stem dies. I can just pull the whole stem up from the ground. It very easily breaks off at soil level. I can't seem to get the repeated blooming and long season. The plants doesn't seem to come back bigger and better the next year either, if they come back at all! What's going on?????
