The Garden Traveler

Peebles, Scotland - question

20 years ago

I have an opportunity to travel to Peebles this summer. What Gardens are near there that I should visit? If there are any garden organizations I could contact, I might arrange to be a speaker while I'm there. I also hope to take my guitar and perform in some local pubs.

Have a look at the garden section of the National Trust for Scotland website. Peebles is in the Borders region, if I remember correctly, and they have two gardens listed there. Sorry, I haven't been to these two, so can't comment first hand, but have visited many others in other parts of Scotland, under the care of the NTS, and they are all wonderful.

Enjoy Scotland, one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
