Aloha! My husband and I just got back from a week in Honolulu and had such fun we're already planning a trip for this October for about 10 days to Kauai and Maui. We've been to Kauai before, but not to Maui. We'd LOVE to find out about PRIVATE gardens we might visit. Any suggestions? They don't have to be big, fancy gardens - we just want to talk to local gardeners, see what's in their backyards.

Also, we'd prefer to rent a small house rather than stay in a hotel (we've done this 3-4 times before and it worked out great). Any suggestions?
