I know I'm three days late on the 9-11 anniversary but I would just like to mention our police, fire and service personnel. They do so much for so many for so little. Thank every one of them that you see. Let's also not forget the families of the victims in that tragedy.

I know that Rhonda just sent her baby to CNIC/Naval Station Great Lakes for Basic. He's in for a chilly winter! Please pray for Rhonda - now she has the MTPS to deal with too on top of that!!! Tough month for a Mom huh?

Chris' SEAL team was just deployed for a six-month tour in B*****d and we'd appreciate your prayers for them as well.

And let's pray for good weather on October the 17th. too!!! We're only 33 days away from the MTPS. I hope that you've potted more stuff than I have. I'll be hitting the beds pretty hard this week. 790 hours is not a lot of time left for us to get ready. It'll be so great to see everyone! I sure miss you guys - and now I can sit back and enjoy a swap like regular folk instead of running around like a nut-job all day!!! Rhonda, I can't thank you enough.

Jeff, You and LaVonne are two of the nicest people I know. I always look forward to your thoughtful posts remembering people that serve our country. I'm very proud to be an American and never forget that so many have and still do sacrifice for our freedom. Derrek is slated for PIR (boot camp graduation) Oct. 30. I have recieved two letters that took me to my knees but no phone call yet. As of now he is in the top division, hopeful for a leadership position, and will be marching at the graduation. This is a real honor. Many will not make it and several have been knocked out of the division already. He is my only son and the first to leave the nest so I am really not right just now. However, he took my heart with him so he has twice the courage and committment. I know he will do great. I am a long way off from him being deployed but I am full of pride for your Chris and can only imagine the worry you all endure. I love our plant swap and even though my son is always on my mind, the swap will be great. I will be posting some news about the swap this afternoon as I need to fly to work now. I appreciate the prayers and friendship. Rhonda

Everyone should "Have Prayers For 'ALL OUR ARMED FORCES' ". My nephew that is "Army/Airborne" will be going back to Afg. after being home 6 months for more training. :)my smile for them all, you would have to be "THERE" , or hear from "Loved Ones" all that they have endeared,(GOOD AND BAD). And may I say, a huge THANKS to the United Postal Service for the flat rate boxes!
