Will this method work for preventing accidental hybridization?

I am growing several OP varieties in about 60 (give or take a few) square feet of garden space. Naturally I will be putting the plants as close together as possible, but I want to save seeds w/o cross pollination.

I am aware that a very similar thread was just started by rj_hythloday. However, I thought I should start a new one and ask for opinions on a bagging method here instead of asking the question several posts down from the other original thread.

My plan is:

For each variety, I choose a set of buds that are getting ready to open. I tap them to get any stray pollen off (just to be safe) and then bag the buds until they bloom. When they are in full bloom I tap them again to encourage self-pollination. Then I take the bag off after fruit have set and mark the the cluster as "pure" or something like that. Then I save the seeds from those fruit and they should all come true when grown the next year.

This method will work well, will it not, for saving OP seeds growing very close to other OP varieties?

Thanks
