Advice on full sun plantings

20 years ago

I'm interested in both flowering and non-flowering plants that can tolerate the hot summer sun all day, every day. Funny that things I have seen grown in the tropics don't seem to do so well in the full sun here. Must have to do with years of building tolerance maybe?
