how do barn door open and close?

We are putting floor to ceiling (10') high glass windows on entire south and east side of house. I'm looking for innovate way to gain privacy at night. If we can get barn doors to cover exterior, can they be closed mechanically from inside the house?

These are french doors, so they swing to the inside. You can either reach out and grab the door or use a hook on a post (that they have at this residence) to reach out and pull the door closed.
