Besides your own livestock, has anyone ever found a good source for lots of manure? I've asked quite a few farmers if they know of a source for free (or really cheap) manure, and the answer is always no. Every one of them uses it on their own fields. Has anyone found anything different?

Try horse boarding stables. I used to get it from one when I lived in Maryland.

There's one not too far from my farm. I asked that guy. He acted like I had asked for his first-borne child or something.

I am willing to bet that many stables will let you have their manure if you are willing to shovel. If you have a little local zoo in the area you might try there too. Or, a large animal vet might be happy for someone to shovel at their place.
