I bought an umbrella tree several weeks ago. It is still in it's container on my patio and gets after noon sun. It was looking good except for some filmy white stuff on the leaves which I think may be water spots. I watered it a week ago when I noticed that some of the new leaves were wilting. It perked right back up but then it looked wilty again the next day. So I watered it a second time. The leaved perked up but then some of the the lower, older leaves turned white and brown( overwatering I think). I stopped watering but then two days later, the top leaves started to wilt again. I don't know what to do. Should I water or not water? OR should I just lightly water. Also what type of fertilizer should I use?
