Sorry I dont have a Wilson Avocado to help you. But...it sounds like your a real Avocado lover. Of the types that you have listed which is the best for making a creamy gucamole? I currently have a Russell and an Oro Negro tree. The avocado from the Russell seem watery and plain tasting. I have not yet tasted fruit from my Oro Negro, have you tasted them yet, what diod you think of it?

Swrancher, I think Dupuis is the best early cultivar, it is not cultivated commercially anymore because of low production. Summer cultival would be Catalina, needs to be picked when ready, excellent flavor very creamy.
Late in the season is Monroe, excelent my favorite.
I tasted Oro Negro this year because people were raving about it. They were right, it could be the best tasting avocado in South Florida. I predict it will be commercial soon and pleople will be willing to pay extra for them it is a 20-24 oz fruit just as good as Hass. I grafted some trees this year so I'll see in a couple of years
