Started seeds today

Hi All! Today I started my seeds in a jiffy starter kit 72 pellet kit. I am thinking 5-10 days to germinate 4 weeks to first tx plant Then 2 weeks to harden off and plant out in containers. I am starting mostly Morerton Hybrid but a couple of generation differences. Some are new seed from Harris. 6 seeds from Uncle Waynes seed Old F1 seed. The rest of the MH from last years saved seed F3 plants. And 6 ea of other varieties. Beefstake, Super Sonic, Jet Star, Marglobe, Celeberity, Grape, Better Boy.

I Found the starter kits were $6.00 at Walley world. I also found Grow lights for $11.00 single tube 24 inch good for small seed starter.

Saturday I put my 20 seeds in water and the next day put them in seed starter, Wednesday morning there was nothing, when I got home from work 12 hours later 19 of the 20 seeds had sprouted. I have never seen such uniform growth. To have 95% of my seeds come up basically at the same time to me was amazing. I am one happy tomato man.

Started my tomatoes too! Big Boy,Baxter Cherry,Roma,and Fourth of July. Next week I'll start my Rutgers for my yearly "cover my cost sale". I like to sell about 80 to friends and coworkers to cover my costs! Sure glad the snow is melting.

Hi All; Well we have tomatoes germinating some at 90% some at 100% and some as low as 50% and the oldest 6 seeds from Uncle Waynes Moreton Hybrid seeds,we are still looking for sprouts I am sure we will get some just slower because of seed age. I'm thinking 18 plus years old.

GOOD LUCK to all.

I have been sowing inside since early Feb. I gave "Early Girl" a head star. Now potted in 4" pots.
Then I had fresh grape and roma from store. I germinated seeds from them.
Boy, they were super fast.
Then I sowed Brandywine. They germinated two days ago.
I have also some yellow and Cherrokee Purple, not germinated yet.
