i got mine in texas, it didnt have a name on it.
i think it was imported from mexico from a backyard grower.

so, im in the same boat, not sure what it is,
mine is very aromatic, sweet (and creamy) , but has a lot of seeds

while mine have a greener covering, the flesh seems a bit darker/ yellower. the greenish skin may be cos there was a LOT of rain in the previous weeks, possibly making them drop faster.

this was last year.
the tree almost died over the winter, and lost ALL its leaves, but is rapidly putting them back on.
loss of a few branches, but all in all, it seems healthy again.
